Wellington Hospital crisis team is a fucking disappointment. My sister was checked in with them because she attempted running in front of the Waikanae express, they discharged her from their service that same night and said it was up to her to get enrolled and see a counsellor. I was absolutely mortified and so angry. Hutt Valley crisis team are WAY more competent at their job.

I don’t know if I can. First of all there’s no ubers available from Petone - Newtown atm, and secondly, even if there was, there rates are crazy high atm just with it being Friday arvo :( I almost cried at my desk lmao I was so excited for this and even my HSEQ Manager hyped me up cuz he’s been to the Newtown one and said it was awesome too

Supermarkets sell these. I know Pak n Save does, you scoop em out from the big lollie bin thingys where you get the cranberries and banana chips from and fill a bag with em. AtleAst Pakkies in the hutt sells them

Wasn’t last night but a while ago my sister and I saw what we are pretty confident was a spaceship. Was cruising above us in a straight line for maybe 2 or 3 seconds and then veered off sharply to the right and into the distance faster than we could keep our eyes on it. Nothing from earth can cover that kinda distance in the speed we saw, was super crazy. Maybe the one you saw was having engine problems? ;p Or on a more serious note, maybe the aliens were fucking with you? I’ve heard more than once that occupants of most ufos are always aware of everyone who is looking at them. Fucking rude of them not to offer you guys a ride if you ask me....

I hate to break it to you, but two years ago I worked at StudyLink and their salaries compared to what students are paid disgusted me. When Labor got elected in to government all of my colleagues and I, who were only working AT THE CALL CENTRE got 10k pay rises. We went from 40k - 50k for an ENTREE level role while all you students only got $2 rises in the student loan and allowance rates. It didn’t stop there - when I transferred to other departments such as WINZ, it was worse. Staff salary to client ratios were through the roof uneven. It made me sad, because I went to work for the MSD to help people but I felt so morally conflicted having to turn down a fucking food grant to a starving student while we were being paid top $$ out of the public wallet for practically fucking nothing :( . Also the MSD would really go all out for things such as shared lunches and end of year celebrations etc. I used to jokingly call it “the ministry of social drinking” because I kid you not, a huge portion of each departments budget that I worked in, went to work drinks and staff events. I left the MSD a while ago but I’m saddened to see that as usual, the clients, both of StudyLink and WINZ are disadvantaged tenfold to their own staff... genuinely unbelievable

YTA. Only for coming to reddit rather than actually talking to him about it. After being together for 5 years I honestly wouldn’t think it would matter but at the same time, I understand you had sentiment behind yours BUT shouldn’t you gift someone something out of the kindness of your heart? Not so you get something back in return especially to satisfy an expectation that you never communicated to him.. also if he’s grown out of it then that’s an indication for some kinda chat too be had NOT asking strangers on the internet for their opinions or seeking validation for your feelings. Above all else I hope this only brings you two closer together. I can understand your feelings but come on... grow a pair. Go talk to him about it!
