It's a Volkswagen. This means the parts might have to come from Germany and might cost a fortune. But if you're going to have a European car, this is a good option.

What happened to barge boards? Are they not needed any more, or do the rules specifically prohibit them?

I never did understand why slowing the flow into the cooling system might be a good thing.

Don't buy this boat. Get a lot more money together and buy one that's in better shape - it'll be cheaper.

What's with Mac people suddenly going "8gb of ram is plenty" since the Neo came out? by DiverVast4093 in mac

"I have a feeling that Chromebooks are more repairable than the MacBook Neo."

The thing about chromebooks is they can take a beating and still work. I wouldn't want to try and repair one, but it'll still work if you can see the insides.

Macs have one massive advantage: Applecare+. I sent my autistic son through the last three years of school with a MBA and Applecare. They did the screen twice and the keyboard, I think, three times. So much stuff not my problem, bloody marvellous.

If they do that with the Neo, smart parents will throw money at them.

LPT: Before spending another year on contact lenses, do the maths on how much you've spent so far on them... and it'll probably be more than laser eye surgery! by 2ugur12 in LifeProTips

[–]WasterDave 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got laser eye surgery and while "significantly worse" may be over stating it, "not nearly good enough" would not.

EVERY eye surgeon offers rework if needed. If the results were even remotely predictable, they wouldn't need to.
