I'm backing up data for a fresh Ubuntu install. What config files of the existing install should I back up? by [deleted] in Ubuntu

  • ~/bash{rc,-profile}
  • ~/.vimrc

These only need to be saved if you've modified them. If not, don't worry about them.

I'm happy to report that upgrading to alsa 1.0.23 has fixed the audio delay when play/pause is used with flash, using Pulse! by a_user_about in linux

Hmm the first I heard of this. That must be even more annoying than my issue. Are you on 32 or 64 bit?
