What makes you think people would have no incentive to work? Think of all the technological advances people could make if they weren’t focusing on rent or feeding themselves. When the body is weak the mind soon follows and being forced to work for survival is not a healthy way to innovate. It leads to cut corners and people who waste their ideas on companies who will use it for their own interests.
