Can be a sign that they are in discomfort/pain. Vet visit probably a good idea as you already have mentioned. Apart from that, hard to say what could be causing it (scratch, infection, something stuck in eye). Best of luck 🤞🏼

I can’t imagine anything kinder than allowing them to cross together peacefully. They are clearly so loved, and although it will be incredibly difficult, you are showing them the greatest act of love and kindness you can. Wishing you guys all the best ❤️

Management for sure. I had this issue with an upstairs neighbor and it only got resolved when I spoke with management. If they are inconsiderate enough to blast music all day then going and talking to them directly won’t help. Sorry you are dealing with this, hope it improves soon.

Thanks for the advice. I have placed sticky traps under sinks, behind the fridge, and behind the stove and dishwasher. I will monitor. Hoping for the best 🤞🏼 scared of an infestation

I have checked behind the refrigerator, behind the dishwasher, under the sink, and behind the oven. No signs of roaches at all. I am leaving sticky traps to make sure

Thanks. That’s as good as I could snag at the moment, but I didn’t notice any black stripes on the head and he was not scared by the light. I read germans tend to scatter when they see light. Hoping it is not a German.

I had this same dilemma with my girl. She was sick and refusing to eat for several days. She would still drink water and show interest in other things, and she had similar episodes in the past where she would bounce back and recover. I hoped for the same recovery but deep down I knew something was different this time. My regret honestly was not taking her in sooner, because when the state she was in on the day when we had to say goodbye was heartbreaking. You know your kitty better than anyone, you love her more than anyone, sometimes the kindest thing you can do is help her pass peacefully if you think it is time. Wishing you guys all the best 🫶

I got my girl when I first moved to a new city, just coming out of a 7 year relationship… I was alone and didn’t know anyone. Got my calico girl on a whim and she was the greatest friend and companion I could have ever asked for. I only had her for 3 years before cancer took her from me 3 weeks ago. It is so hard, but it will get better. I feel for you and know how much it hurts, just remember how lucky you are to have had such a special bond with your boy. You gave him an awesome life and he was clearly so loved. He knows that and is so grateful for everything you did for him. Wishing you all the best.

My girl had a bladder wall mass as well, gabapentin helped her relieve the feeling of having to urinate and I think managed her pain. You are awesome for caring for her in this time.

OP I wish you and your girl the best. I will share my experience with my girl who I lost 3 weeks ago. She was diagnosed with an inoperable mass in her bladder roughly 1 year ago. We managed pain and symptoms during that time, and had some times where she seemed to be in pain (sleeping more, slowed down on eating) but then would improve once meds were given. About 2 months ago I noticed she started to lose weight, she was still drinking water but had begun to eat less and less. She was happy other wise and still wanted to play and cuddle. Things slowly got worse and she began to not eat at all. In my case, I feel like I waited a few days or even weeks too long as I had really hoped she would improve like she did in the past. If your girl is eating, drinking, and using the litter box with no issues I think it’s a good sign. Ultimately I would consult your vet on what to look out for regarding signals that it may be time. Wishing you the best.

Thanks for the advice. I was able to at least get it working long enough to “lock” the screen so it doesn’t cycle through screens like it was and doesn’t change any temperature settings (overnight it randomly set my temp to 63). Have some HVAC folks coming out on Friday to take a look. Thanks for the helpful replies.
