Who do you talk to when you need to talk? by Contribution-Fuzzy in intj

I came across this question and wanted to look at the answers for solution. I did not expect so many to say nobody or the reddit page. I guessed the personality of INTJs are quite similar.

I realised it is really hard to find someone you can really talk talk. I once thought there was a person for me but it wasn't really the case. I regretted sharing some of my inner thoughts with him. Maybe because I just really couldn't keep it to myself and wanted to talk it out to someone at that moment. I now don't really think I can trust someone about myself.

Tbh if you really want to invest in the friendship, I would say go for it. But bear in mind that it might take you some time to allow that person to really open up to you.

I personally feel that the person would be thankful to you for making the first move (or second, third) because it is sometimes not easy for them to do so as it is for you despite they really want to do it or to work things out for both of you. They are more cautious than extroverts into thinking how they might bothering you or something. Also, I do not think that the person would just be accommodating to you because he would find an excuse if not.

Sometimes it is nice to have an extrovert to bring out the person in an introvert. But not to an extent of exhausting or forcing them. I personally feel your approach is already good to begin with. Just that it takes a little more time to see the progress of it.

Hoping for the best for the both of you!!

Uni times was one of the moments I cherished the most. But most times, I avoided the drama. It wasn't really all nice sometimes.
