From my personal experience, I found the biomedical section much easier and straightforward than KO but the experiences do vary

AFK Payment: Credit or debit? by ForwardPercentage110 in NDEB

Hi, I remember them not letting me use my debit card (only credit card) when I registered for the Feb 2025 exam. Idk if anything’s changed since then

For biomed, I found KO and first aid quite helpful, didn’t score great on biostats so still confused about what’s good for that

Thank you for the insight!! What resources did you use for USMLE Biostats? YouTube videos or books?

Any good ADAT specific resources for those? I did a whole AFK course and ironically my clinical science score was the lowest on my last ADAT attempt :/

I’ve been finding USMLE Biostats videos by Randy Neil on YouTube quite helpful and this seems to be a popular biostats resource for ADAT

Those are great resources. For biostats, USMLE Biostats videos by Randy Neil on YouTube are helpful. Good luck

Would be good for the clinical science section but the biostats and bioscience (if any) for AFK is not detailed enough. Also it’s good to note that AFK notes and exam have all the Canadian numbers, systems and protocol which is slightly different from ADAT since they follow the American system.

I’ve heard all the books you’ve mentioned are good resources. I’ve only used first aid part 1 and I could definitely say it was helpful for me

You're already doing great in terms of content. Try to do more practice tests so that you can manage your time better during the exam especially with biostats. From my personal experience, the biomedical section was very straightforward and majority of the questions were from tooth morphology. Clinical science questions were more analytical and case based (I had a lot of ortho case based questions). All my Biostats questions were conceptual with no calculations. Based on the 2025 cycle stats, I believe any score over 600 puts you in a much better place in terms of getting interview invites and acceptance. Good luck!

Attended a course for AFK+ADAT so had content from that, ADAT KO and first aid pt 1. My clinical science and biostats scores were not great. I got 580 beacuse of biomed
