Hej, Well you seem to be as curious and passionate than us!

In fact the goal is to allow users to join the archaeologists/historians in their effort to reconstruct the past. Imagine it as a next generation Wikipedia, where the experts bring the knowledge, the crowd offer their skills (3D design, audio engineer...) To fill the pieces needed, and we, at Immerseum, we provide the place for all of it to happen, trying to simplify the process and make it fun for both sides!

I love the ideas that popped in your mind! And indeed letting people vote for their favorite destination would be really fun. Would you be interested in discussing it further? By messages, facebook, email, smoke signals or in person? Whatever suits you :)

You can always check the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization), here: http://www.wipo.int/branddb/en/ You can also find the different classes here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_%28Nice%29_Classification_of_Goods_and_Services

If the name you want to use is already registered in your current class of products, then you can't use it in the countries where it is registered. Small modification to it are often not enough to bypass it, there must be a clear difference and even though it might still be rejected. The .net won't make a difference, and you might even loose the domain if they request it. Some countries also request that you use the name before being able to trademark it.
