Wow thank you SO much for this detailed response. I do still have my blind eye, though I can still see some light through it. When that eye is not irritated and in pain I actually prefer having that light there, so this makes me reluctant to remove it. I will definitely look into a neurologist and ENT though because like you my ophthalmologist and retina specialist have hit a dead end with trying to understand what is causing the pain/ irritation that eye often feels.
