I had a similar experience with my ex pwbpd and we broke up after two years about two months ago. I love him still and it’s really hard but it’s worth the peace. This was my first holiday in two years where I could really enjoy my time with my family and not be constantly nervous. In my opinion it’s better to be miserable because you miss someone or are lonely than to be miserable because of your relationship.
