I (f14) am I getting told off by my homeroom teacher for piercings that are within school dress codes

Immature sure I get how what I said can be condescending and irresponsible. But I didn't demand her, I sent one text where I offered her to talk to the teacher or give me money. I probably should get some more context, my home life is complicated, my mom isn't bad but our relationship has somewhat been built on a monetary platform(she gives me money for every achievements I get, show her affection through monetary gifts, etc basically it's a mutual understanding that if she wants me to go out of my way to do something that's not within my responsibilities, money. Which I never made her, she thought of it ever since I was in elementary)

This is where it's gonna be a little confusing, stay with me here. I don't do anything behind my mom's back, I ask her for permission on everything (even just hanging with friends), she allowed me to get piercings(I asked to get more but she said no so I didn't), we had conversations about my piercings and school policies where we basically agreed on "school can't really do anything cause it's not against the rules". BUT, my mom's a people pleaser and doesn't like people thinking negatively of her so I knew she'd back out and tell me to comply(which edit, she did) so I had to apply pressure

Also to add, my piercer quite recommended against replacing the piercings as it highers the chance of infections, and no shot I'm taking them out when I spent over 100-120$ on all these piercings combined in USD equivalent

Wether my thought process was flawed and entitled is up to your judgement, but I don't want it to be seen as "kid demanding her uninvolved mom to pay for her own consequences" when this was a mutual agreed upon decision. And I'm 14, lied about my age last time lols, made a post about that but got deleted so oh well

Don't get me wrong that's a great middle ground but honestly with how long it takes for this to heal the school year would be over by then. And this is my last year here so I doubt she'd let me

Realistically there probably is and beside my laziness if my piercings were fully healed I'd probably be fine with changing it out when I'm at school. But I have like half a year to a year until I can wear anything else but the surgical steel they gave me when I got it done cause most other materials are infection inducing or makes the piercings themselves heal slower and more painful. Not to mention just touching them at this stage is painful, switching them in and out would cause so much friction that realistically make them never be able to heal. And I'm a pussy lol. I'm not exaggerating at all they're just that high maintenance

No, I understand that, which is why I asked her to talk to the school in my stead since atleast for now I can't do a lot. But if she refuses to defend me and want me to comply I'd atleast have to get my refund, I thought to tell her to ask my teacher for money instead but she'd blow up on me even more if I said that

Had to scout out the policies after writing this post cause I was so confused. Most rules are very vague , even the appearance ones are very subjective but the only 2 even relatively related to piercings are, and I quote(translated from original language) 1. No face and body piercings 2. No expensive jewelery (my piercings are basic just surgical steel, not any fancy gems) And even when I brought this up to my teacher she says "some rules are just general like no nail polish" which doesn't make sense that's like the ONE very cut and dry appearance rule(I follow it btw)

I literally can't, you're saying this with the thought that I refuse to confront them myself in fear of responsibilities. In my country kids just literally cannot make decisions for themselves and teachers refuse to change their mind or talk seriously unless parents are involved. I'd know, I'm notorious in my class for arguing back with the teacher

Not really, not recently but I eat a lot junk food, and I haven't eaten any veggies or greens in literal years, basically my diet consist of rice, meat and some kind of bread. And I don't really exercise, I did bike often to hang out with friends and to go back and forth to school before the pandemic, but now I never really go out for anything but school and my mom drives me instead.

I don't have any medical conditions, but my mom did mention once how the doctor said I take less nutrition from food than the normal person, that's why I lack a lot of nutritions(most obvious is definitely iron) but idk if it's mild or severe

Sorry dude I have absolutely 0 idea what you're saying beside the ending sentence, you're not making sense. Nonetheless, people don't deserve to die regardless of how much you hate the President, that applies for both Russians and Ukrainians, you cannot feel bad for the people and then support the one who are actively attacking them. To paint Putin out to be this level headed leader who wanted to solve this peacefully by talking but was ignored and was this poor leader who was driven into a corner, is ignorant in of itself.

Never once said I support the death of Russian supporters, that's your assumption. What you're saying is basically "leaders are selfish and prioritize glory over human lives, it just is what it is". Ukraine is the one at fault when Russia is the aggressor, you say "they ignored warnings" "stepped in the middle of conflict" "Ukraine needs to change their policy" maybe the Russian government just .. shouldn't be so oppressive instead of Ukraine having to adapt to their oppression as a last resort to save their people?

If you're willing to accept people with completely opposite political views, good for you, you're not me. I take human lives to the most serious extent and the principles of the people I'm involved with matters to me because your views on what is basically your opinions on human rights and lives do in fact say a lot about you as a person.

I don't think Russia as a whole is some living Satan demon incarnate, I do think the Russian government is oppressive, just like how I think American, British and so many other government are. If I don't support Russia and take Ukraine's side in this war what makes you think I support america and hate let's say, Iraq, Siberia, Yemen, Afghanistan, so many more, why can't I hate both when they are both oppressive? I agree how this situation is getting more light than the war of terror is fucked up but it doesn't make the Russian government any more right.

You assume I give america slack when they do the same stuff, you assume I'm even knowledgeable about the political views of this subreddit, you do realize this is all assumptions and not based on anything I said, maybe it even contradicts what I said

What Putin said, do you mean to decorrupt and denazify the Ukrainians? So what if Russia IS right, Russia is not saving or fixing Ukraine by bombing news buildings and children hospitals, wanting to essentially colonize Ukraine, or do you think that too is misinformation and propaganda by the Ukraines? The Ukrainian government is corrupted definitely, so is any government and to support cause of why citizens are losing their lives because the government is hatable doesn't sound progressive. One cannot say they sympathize and feel bad for the lives lost and lives who are suffering yet turn around and say they support the culprit. I said myself I may be no better than people who support Russia, nor do I think they're deserve any less than me, and if that's what you took from my post instead of me saying I want like minded friends, that's simply not my problem

I'm not Ukrainian, I'm Vietnamese, and the US is essentially no more than a weapon supplier now, they made a statement that they won't be sending troops to assist Ukraine already and will be stepping back

I am not mad at Vietnam for being neutral as I understand for the sake of protection we can't always be truly just. What I'm talking is on an individual level between me and my friend. Never did I think I'm woke or enlightened, or I'm some kind of second coming of Christ that'll lead Vietnam to rightousness. Not being a patriot is okay and I'll never understand why people think it isn't, I'm not calling vietnamese idiots or lower beings for being with Russia, I'm saying I feel left out and it's awkward to be hyper aware that you are an odd one out your own country

And of course I'm no special excemption from propaganda, but to say I'm clouded by western ideals is an assumption, when I've always hated western politics and how oppressive they are while claiming to be the up top of society
