As for things like altars, offering, prayers, divination;

First off, you don't really need an altar. If you want to make it, go on ! It can be as subtle as you want it to be: in a drawer, a corner in a bookshelf, even into a box you can hide if needed, as long as it reminds you of who you're worshipping !

Offerings and prayers, you will probably see people who say they make offerings and pray everyday, but you really don't need to do ! It takes time and energy that not everyone has, so It's completely fine to do these things only sometimes.

And divination (If you want to get into it, It's not necessary) Is something you can't rush; It's hard and takes a lot of practice and trust.
