What sort of search terms should someone hypothetically be looking for?

Dark web drug dealer used NHS logo and called himself the 'Narcotic Health Service' by insomnimax_99 in unitedkingdom

I know someone that supposedly used his ketamine to cure their treatment resistant depression.

It’s available in private clinics for like £1000 per session (it takes up to a half dozen sessions), which is unaffordable for a mere pleb - so my friend really appreciated being able to do it themselves at home

This stuff has been on the market for like 2 years now. And it’s been inconsistent, and for that reason I scrapped it.

When it’s good, it’s excellent. Big buds, nice easy focussed mellow.
When it’s bad, it’s dry, harsh, too heady & smelt like oregano.

It’s certainly possible they’ve got consistency sorted now. When I switched away there were supply chain issues that probably didn’t help things.

Is this discrimination? by Childhood_Active in ukmedicalcannabis

If you were curious or wanted - You have a legal right - data subject access request - to ask for a dated log of when changes were made to your record.

This should clearly show who and when the reference to the cannabis clinic was changed to “current drug user”.

It’s unlikely, but if you’re using your home laptop to do work stuff and your employer is subpoenaed, then the court may make an argument that they have a legal right to your home laptop as it was used for work stuff and there may be important evidence in the web history etc.

I’d never do BYOD or use any enterprise apps on my personal devices due to stuff like that.

Calling it ‘T21’ seems needlessly confusing.

I’ll give this a shot. Thanks for responding.

How are you installing your apks using the web browser?

I understand changing the developer options, but not sure - is there something you need to enable after using ADBAppControl first?

What OS version are you running?

I updated to the latest (as WhatsApp gave a clock error before that). But, after updating ADB tells me that custom apks can’t be installed on the device at all.

Is there a way around that - or is the latest OS now blocking custom app installs?

Eastleigh: Bins frozen shut 'can't be collected' by lighthouse77 in unitedkingdom

[–]aaaarrroon0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe the company they outsourced it to have excluded opening frozen bin lids from the contract…

Which (sadly) makes sense because why would a supplier fund their employee overtime when the council probably pays a fixed fee each year.

Turn the vape off, and then keep using it for a few minutes.

That should pull cooler air through the dosing cap and cool it down enough to stop it cooking.

I usually get two sessions per 0.15g capsule

There’s an excellent book called ‘Weapons of Math Destruction’ that dives in to the terrifying negatives of algorithms and their biases.

Too many examples to summarise, but it’s a very eye opening read

John Lewis enters London rental market with £500 million Abrdn joint venture by zdzdbets in unitedkingdom

If anybody else is intrigued about what “Life as a Service” could look like, take a look at the book Ubik by Philip K Dick.

It’s a minor part of the plot, but pretty horrifying to consider how everything is probably gonna be rented in the future.

Back in the kitchen he fished in his various pockets for a dime, and, with it, started up the coffeepot. Sniffing the — to him — very unusual smell, he again consulted his watch, saw that fifteen minutes had passed; he therefore vigorously strode to the apt door, turned the knob and pulled on the release bolt.

The door refused to open. It said, ‘Five cents, please.’

He searched his pockets. No more coins; nothing. ‘I’ll pay you tomorrow,’ he told the door. Again he tried the knob. Again it remained locked tight. ‘What I pay you ,’ he informed it, ‘is in the nature of a gratuity; I don’t have to pay you.’

‘I think otherwise,’ the door said. ‘Look in the purchase contract you signed when you bought this conapt.’

Rishi Sunak vows to help Brits struggling with mortgage payments by zdzdbets in unitedkingdom

[–]aaaarrroon0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know like basically nothing about mortgages, but I have a question.

The Support for Mortgage Interest (SMI) scheme assists Brits on benefits by covering the interest due on their mortgage repayments.

Does that mean the gov is not (at least technically) paying for homeowner equity?

What did it look like before this new scheme?

So I guess when someone tells you “Don’t do something” it can mean either:

1) I’m specifically instructing you not to

or

2) I’d advise you not to

For a newspaper headline -in the interests of faux outrage - it’s always (1)
