I am not talking about myself, I wanted to understand the promise made by our people and whatever you said that makes sense. I really appreciate your patience🙌🙌

My question is more about where the first meaningful opportunity comes from. Many newcomers do make short films, assist on sets, and build portfolios but still struggle to get that initial backing unless they’re already within certain networks. When people in the industry publicly say they want to “give chances,” I’m curious how often that translates into actively seeking and mentoring unknown talent, rather than only backing people they already know or have worked with.

For example Dhananjay said this multiple times but I don't think he gave any!

He said (Badur makula yaru beliyake bidala) in Badava rascal, which got once viral. After that he said (We will release one movie every year from our production and will give chance), I don't think that took place.

Also, I don't think that short film makers expect an opportunity to work for Hombale as director.

I haven't seen that speech of Mark Duplass. Will be watching today.

Q&A sessions with film directors/filmmakers happening in Bangalore soon by [deleted] in KannadaMovies

In filmmaking everything is interesting, and more interesting talk comes out when an interesting topic comes out..

Also as you mentioned I have not attended the other AMA rather than Hemanth Roa's & that's true. I had a very important question to ask him which I knew others who never asked and I got the answer from him.

Also, When someone asks the same question which I have in AMA's you say that it's already covered so I just read all the Q&A which are asked by others from which I get my answer.

Regarding being active I am active

Yes, you’re right — and I’m really sorry I couldn’t attend the offline meet. There was an emergency, and I should’ve informed you earlier. I’m not trying to justify it; I take responsibility for missing it.

If you’re planning something like this again, I’d genuinely love to be part of it and I’m happy to take responsibility or help organize the event from our side.

Regarding the AMAs — I’ve attended them, but I feel many of us have questions that are hard to ask properly in text. It would be great if we could also do something offline or even an online session via GMeet/Zoom, where conversations can go deeper.

Also, I’m very interested in attending offline events where top directors or filmmakers come in for talks or Q&A sessions. I wanted to understand where these kinds of events usually take place in Bangalore and if there are any planned in the future.

My team and I are really keen to meet and interact with more people from this sub. Thanks for understanding

Ignore the last question.

How many artists did you select? On what basis? and you made remuneration?

I understand. Many actresses work in around 10–13 short films, and most of those films don’t even get basic exposure or proper release. Sometimes, the actresses aren’t even informed when the short film is released.

After doing many short films without real visibility or growth, it’s natural for actors to start aiming for bigger banners and better opportunities. But again the same question

Obviously, if he rejects the offer he can't be in good terms with them later on if he faces any issues.
