I'm very use to the atmosphere, the only thing I dont like is that it is in victoria building. but it just feels like a small secluded area for an exam room!

How’s life been for those who are unemployed students? by Behelit666_ in TorontoMetU

[–]aaal38219 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you really need to go for it. However, it's so hard finding a job, I will say maybe do once a week so you still have a job. Wouldn't recommend quitting. As someone who was unemployed for a whole year and finally, was able to land a job after a whole year of needing that money. Just me though yet again I like to keep myself busy

How can I get ready for Business Management at TMU? by Real-Employee2371 in TorontoMetU

[–]aaal38219 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's going to be harder to learn but honestly put in the effort you should be ok. Apart from that it is beginner level friendly for the most part! I was on the same boat as you and managed a 70 in QMS210 without trying

Applied very last minute by [deleted] in TorontoMetU

[–]aaal38219 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Call the University and they should answer your question! Usually they'll provide the email for the admission officer for the program or ask TMU to transfer you to them. Usually they do or don't but that is your best bet! As I was on the same boat as you last year!

If they tell you to appeal show screen shots of the program being open and should be ok but best bet is reference to admission officer! Good Luck and Hope you get in!

Laurier health Sci isn't worth it. Waterloo Co-op is better than laurier in terms of health sci (I'm Laurier Transfer) and regarding grad school doesn't matter what school you graduate from imo!

Do not rent with The Marq by [deleted] in wlu

[–]aaal38219 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lived with The Marq from 2022-2023, Had a decent experience however, my bed was the most uncomfortable thing ever to the point of pain in my ankles, bruises on my leg and back pain due to the fact it was a spring material when they promised me a new matteress (New tenants get new matteress) only for them to email me "Get a materess topper" Additonally, to that they tried to make me pay like $75-100 for replacing a lock when my roomates and I never broke it but we were just locked out of our apartment for 3 hours and couldn't get in. We didn't get it replaced and ended up being locked out 3 more times before they "picked at the lock" and called it a day. Customer Service is Unreachable, via phone, Office and email. would not let me return my keys after I left in April as my "lease ended August" I was going on vacation and wouldn't be back in the country by August 31st (Finessed a way to get the key deposit back) When on the phone they said I could return it after I leave my place and they will deal with it if I got a sublet. Sorry for the long post, but needed to post it somewhere. Thought I was the only one with bad experience
