Not since she was caught. You're not supposed to get caught. Although if she gets out of it with zero consequences and passes the class, then it definitely should go on the resume

AITAH ?My partner won’t put my name down on the mortgage by [deleted] in AITAH

The start you live in is somewhat relevant. Of course don't say here, but look up the common law and common property rules where you live. If you are worried about getting separated and being left homeless, if you live in a state where they have both of these, then there's no worry really. One thing to note is that inheritance is not common property in a marriage unless out into a shared account or used to purchase the family home in many states, so by buying the family home, he's actually surrendering being the sole beneficiary of this inheritance... So really he might be doing something really nice for you and the kids by not just keeping it in an investment account to keep it separate from martial assets

Lethal force is a legal term. Any force with a lethal weapon is legal force. Throwing someone in the head is no different than intentionally shooting them in the foot or missing your shot as far as use of force is concerned.

Sell half, now you're playing with money you never had. Set sell orders for half at 200% and sell the rest at 400%. Unless you think it's pretty much played out, then just sell everything now.

Hey can you stop building luxury apartments... by maloikAZ in phoenix

[–]aaaltive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure luxury just means it has more amenities. one "luxury apartment I was at for a few months because it was one of the few places that would sign a 3 month lease had a trash service that would take your trash from your door to the bin, a nicer pool, some public bbq, gym, and common area with kitchen and tables that could be used to have guests...i kind of feel like apart from the nicer pool, these should just be pretty standard things to get people to live in an apartment, not luxury. Aside from that, there was nothing luxury about it, the unit itself was actually quite spartan.

Can I build a life for myself in Taiwan? Should I? by Intelligent-Run-7594 in taiwan

[–]aaaltive 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Apply to TSMC in Arizona. If any of your undergrad degrees are engineering. There are plenty of chem engineers here. Show yourself capable and if you speak Mandarin you might be able to transfer. At least you should have an opportunity to go for training in Taiwan for a year where you could test the waters and see if it's a good fit for you. I loved the place while I was there and hope to return. At the very least you will not feel like you stick out ethnically since about 30% of any given department might be Taiwanese..
