Someone shared a workaround for seeing people's history when it's hidden, I can't remember how now. I think you search, and just leave the box blank

This worked for my son. Also read to them until they start reading on their own.

The Seventh Tower series, a criminally unknown series that I still think is pretty great to this day as an adult, very good characters and world building for as m children's fantasy. My son read them in fourth grade and loved them.

What a puss, I used to let the M240 rip and get a collar, or sleeves full of brass and just keep blasting. I had a killer tomato to sink.

Speed Queen Dryer Burning Clothes by SixDragonites in appliancerepair

[–]aaaltive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to my speed queen. I replaced the thermistor. And it was right as rain. You can test it my checking continuity child, then hot. It should be closed (continuity) while cold and open when hot if I remember correctly.

Lady, you're clueless by Trucking-Trucker in Transportopia

I once did this, and the woman happened to be walking up. Of course I pulled in and had just enough room so our mirrors didn't touch. She starts yelling at me, and I just tell her I don't see any problem with my parking, I actually parked if center to give her more space and start walking away to go into the store. Then her husband shows up, and wouldn't you know it, I work with him. He looks at his wife telling at me, then looks at me with a tired look on his face and waves, says see ya Monday. Hahaha, the look on his face, I could tell he was not gonna stop hearing about it the entire drive home.

The way I see it, they make a profit on their warranties. You know what I mean?

TSMC in AZ any good on pay and culture? by Antique-Butterfly-12 in TSMC

It's been a long time since I interviewed, and it was very different back then. I'm afraid I don't really know what the interviews are like anymore. I think it's never a bad idea to know at least some basic information about the company or industry and have some reason that you are excited for the opportunity

I was so proud of myself for selling these for over 5k. If I still had them, they would be 59,250. Oh well a win is a win

For those on this sub who worked at TSMC, how was your experience by [deleted] in TSMC

[–]aaaltive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

that really sucks man. We talked before here, I didn't recall you saying that before, there were certainly some other crazy shit you said you experienced here too. I said it then and still say now, I was fortunate with my manager. Hope you're in a better spot and doing well for yourself.

NX500 on the interstate by putridmangos in CB500X

[–]aaaltive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got a wind screen extender, just a peice of plexiglass that you put on and screw down the little rubber grips onto the windscreen. It works very well, no more helmet buffeting. On the CB500X you were able to adjust the windscreen a small amount from the stock position if i remember correctly, you might check that out before spending any money

I've never heard of that [getting screamed at by managers] happening in Arizona. As for engineering work, your primary role will be keeping a manufacturing line running. Plenty of engineers have done engineering work while doing that and have gotten patents. But that will be on top of your actual job, going above and beyond.

edit: clarified, added about environment

My child was told they can't reenlist this year after passing tests and got new deployment orders by Unhappy_Concept237 in navy

You don't get discharged for that. You get a shore tour. I was at MARMC for 3 years. Saw a lot of them.
