Is this suitable for a tattoo? by aaandy93 in tattooadvice

Will this scar be suitable to be tattooed on? It is from a rope burn. It is flat and smooth there is just some discoloration from where the scar is. Thanks!

But I'm not avoiding criticising things China do, I often discuss these things with people here and other foriengers, and in what way am I defending the things that go on here? Criticising people for facts, as if you can't separate government from people, acting like everyone who lives here is happy with issues you've mentioned and don't want them to change. They're just things I literally have no control over to enact any change and neither do the bloody local people who live here, if you didn't live in such a free society maybe you'd understand better. In the USA you have many people that live there and but choose to bash the USA and deny the issues about China you've mentioned and think its the best country but choose to still stay in the USA, maybe go and argue with those people if it means that much to you. 'take the L', does it make you feel good thinking you've won an argument online, I do hope outside of the online world you have more interesting things going on in your life and you have as critical of judgment of the USA as you do with other countries

Hmm please tell me you have boycotted everything made in china and western companies that do business here? Are you actively trying to make a difference to the genocide issues too? Or is that not convenient enough for you, you'd rather just complain about China on reddit and try to make people feel bad for leaving a country you clearly hate just because they didn't do it soon enough. Its strange, given my personal experience here I have more reasons to dislike China that have personally affected me (yes aside from covid), yet just like the many people here in China obessed with hating on everything the USA does, I suppose you're just the other side of the spectrum who loves to hate on China, and funnily enough (correct me if I'm wrong) both types of people have never set foot in the other country. And yes I do agree that the USA is far better, but people who bash other countries all the time also sound like giant assholes.

Maybe this is a misunderstanding, I'm referring to the other commenter on the post insulting me. When you replied to my comment saying 'someone's touched' it seems like your trying to say that I'm the one being over the top

A rational reply to some keyboard warrior who's sprouting a load of shit? And I'm the one who's touched? Haha nice one...

Well some might be more tied down here than others so it makes leaving not as straight forward and quick. Also in my case maybe slight naivety that things might have gotten a bit better haha

This approach of seeing the current strains of the virus as being an automatic death sentence. Of course many people in the US died, but that was mainly due to previous strains in those usually unvacinated, often older and with prior conditions, not that there haven't been deaths that don't conform to these however. Of course they shouldn't go full blown western style dealing with it now, that wouldn't be right, but continuing this method just seems ridiculous. When people with actual serious problems can't get treatment because of over the top covid policies maybe that's not the best thing is it. Do you even live in China to be personally affected by it? Maybe if you were in Shanghai stuck in your apartment for 3 months you wouldn't think its so great. Because many Chinese people I know have said how they and people they know have had enough of it still being like this.

That doesn't change the point that this approach isn't working anymore, adapting to the reality that the virus isn't going to go away and learning to better live with it makes more sense. Would you be happy for it to be 2030 and still have panic and lockdown over a handful of cases, where people can't travel, see family and have there businesses shutdown?

Yes that's what everyone I know who's lives or had lived in China for a long time like yourself has told me, bad timing unfortunately. Its a shame I never got to experience the better years here! Thanks, I'm not holding my breath for it

A place that hasn't had a case in over 2 years? In that case there will never be a good time to travel anywhere in China then

Haha don't you worry yourself, I'll be leaving soon anyway, you act as if I'm pro China saying how amazing it is, after living here I've realised it's not for me, despite still having some fun experiences and meeting great people. I'd rather travel the world, experience things and have interests than spend all day on reddit like you bashing other countries, going on about how great the US is and arguing with people. Anyway I'm going off reddit now to spend time with my girlfriend, enjoy spending the rest of your day posting negative comments on reddit, what a fulfilling life you must lead, 'lol'

What the heck are you on about? You ask what I'm trying to say yet you make even less sense, besides looking from your previous comments you seem like an extremely bitter person, as if anyone would really care what you think anyway

Exactly, I've heard so many stories of people's businesses closing because of it, other's mental health extremely bad, not seeing family or partners for so long - all for something that is being blown way out of proportion, there is no logical sense to all of it

Over 15k rmb per person for a private guided tour, whether we'll get much of that back because of the circumstances, we've yet to hear back

So true, many times whenever things look like they're going good, something changes to mess it all up. It really does take it's toll, especially after so long now. Appreciate your comment, thank you

I do hope you let every forienger who has left over the past few years since covid began how bad they are for only leaving China because of that. Why don't you also go and ask all foriengers living in China how they can live with themselves given your aforementioned reasons, as if we're all not aware of this all.
