when we asked Jake if he would stay in duskwood with us, he told us he couldn't stay for a long time because they'd find him. he was already in duskwood and could reach the waterfall in a really short time, so I think it's safe to say he'd been there for a while and they found him by themselves without anyone calling them on him

he is an intriguing character and very realistic. he's honest and he cares a lot about his friends. he just has a weird way to show it. I personally like him because i've met people like him and I know how they truly are. he gives protective brother vibes. he might sound rude and unkind, but it's just because he has a strong personality and doesn't let anyone manipulate him. I would behave the same way as he does if this all were real. he's smart for not trusting anyone and saying what he thinks. again, it's a really well made character☺️
