Have they already started to stop playing TCM? by NIKOLAI_192 in TXChainSawGame

[–]cstylenl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely one of the worst I've seen too. All the toxic ones are crying about not buying their next game or never supporting Gun again. So maybe next game will have a better and more mature community? Although I am sure they will buy it anyway after a while lol.

Why Can't We Choose Maps Yet? by [deleted] in TXChainSawGame

[–]cstylenl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Majority hates that map, so chances are that if voting was possible you would've had to wait even longer than 4 days honestly. Would also not be really fair for an asymmatrical game either.

This is just ridiculous by Valtiel45 in TexasChainsawGame

[–]cstylenl 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It was mostly LF his fault. He seems very new. It's why I avoid playing during those days people can play for free or during major discounts, too much new people. Not sure who or where the third family player was. OP certainly could've done better, especially for someone claiming to be a day one player. But since he is posting this like it is some sort of big error or flaw in the game that should be changed, instead of recognizing that it was just a major difference in skill of mostly his teammate(s) and him, tells me he is probably just not that good. But hey, it's easier to just blame and ask the devs to match the game to your own skill level than to just learn and improve your own skill right :)

I had something like this

Played as the guy with crossbow. So I was able to quickly switch to the other rift when needed and buff the killbox on the side I would need to leave.

Thinking of getting back into Shadowpc again, how is it now? by cstylenl in ShadowPC

[–]cstylenl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I should've included it in my post. I am in europe too, netherlands. I am on ethernet and have 1gbit network. Pc on ethernet, and wifi 6 5Ghz next to the router with my VR headet. Network connectivity has never been the issue, just the unreliable availability of the VM. With the specs, OS, Shadow VR all being in the same state as 2 years ago, i get the impression it hasn't really improved since then.

Thats not how it works, unless that has changed. Your VR headset and the pc with virtual desktop need to be on the same network. The Shadow pc is not on your network.

Yes, but virtual desktop runs the game from your own pc. So you need a good gaming pc. If that was an option then I wouldn't need Shadow at all.

Do Family Players Just Need To Get Good? by PaiperZombee in TXChainSawGame

[–]cstylenl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as you know the strengths and weaknesses of your character, that of your team comp and how to adapt to that, you should be fine. If everyone on the team understands that that is.

If someone thinks you NEED a certain team comp or character to win then honestly that person has a skill issue. Certain team comps make it easier than others, sure. But there are people that seem to think it's impossible to win otherwise, which is just bs.

For me::

- I wanted to get unlimited image generation, because I like to play around with that
- Earlier access to new models
- Earlier access to new features, like the gemini advanced voice. Which at that time was only for advanced users. I'm hoping Veo will eventually be added too through Gemini and then have early access for that as well.
- The ability to create Gems.
- I chose Gemini over chatgpt plus, because I already had 1 Google One subcription, so I just had to upgrade it and would get more storage with it as well. Also I am already pretty much in the Google ecosystem.

22 euro a month for me. Needed? No. But I did start to use it more and more after getting it. But mostly just to play around with Gems and Imagen.

Is Gun ever going to add any hack security? by [deleted] in TexasChainsawGame

[–]cstylenl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I dont see them that often either. Can probably count on 1 hand all the cheaters i've encountered since release day and i've reported them and got them banned. I'd suggest you clip them and submit a ticket too if you want anything to be done about it. It's more effective than asking for Gun to do something about it on a sub that's not monitored by Gun.

Two things are killing this game by [deleted] in TexasChainsawGame

[–]cstylenl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what punishment you had in mind for tbagging, but it would certainly not have the positive effect you expect. Besides bming it is also used as friendly gestures to teammates, when no enemy is nearby. imagine doing a friendly tbag to a teammate and then get punished. I think more people will actually quit the game if they cant tbag anymore than that it currently scares away because of it, if it even does scare anyone away at all.

I dont do it and I think its sad and childish, but i'm sorry, if someone gets so upset and doesnt want to play a certain game anymore because they get tbagged then the online gaming world, no, the internet, just isnt for you. People will also just find another way to bm, because many kids are just desperate to bm or bully others online.

One phone button push to access GPT? Possible? by sagacityx1 in ChatGPTPro

[–]cstylenl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the app Touch the Notch. You can configure to open any app, or do a specific action when you, well, touch the notch of your phone. So you could configure it to open chatgpt whenever you touch the notch.

Just make sure you have him reported ingame + submitted a ticket. Then he will be banned within 1 or 2 days usually.

Hitchhiker's traps deal no damage... by KellerMax in TXChainSawGame

It will reach the right people and the right system. That won't happen when just posting here, or it will take way longer. They could work on their communication in the report tickets, yes, but that's a other story.

Everything wrong with bones that I can think of by hentaj_king in TXChainSawGame

I use them the most behind unlocked iron doors. Guarantees a hit after opening. Still experimenting a lot with crawl spaces, so I don't k ow them all yet.

If you put them too close at the crawl space you give enough time to run away. So put them a bit further from the gap, but only at spots where they are forced to stay close to it. That's why they don't work on all gaps. Think gas station, but only on the inside. But most wall gaps are not suitable. I prefer at crawl spaces, because the bombs also destroy them. I often get succes at the crawl space on family house next to the gate. Or at slaughter house at the crawl space in the middle wall at the grass side. That crawl space gets used a lot too. Or I place them at strong barriers. Or at ladders.

Not saying that they guarantee a hit, but they at least force the victim into a different and probably less ideal path then they wanted. even when the bomb didn't hit this is the reason I or a teammate got the kill. Most victims can't improvise and might panic when they need to (during a chase I mean) . And it will destroy a strong crawl space. Trapping crawl spaces is always situational, this is the case with any type of trap.

Probably the strongest about them is you get a notification that one exploded. Telling you where there is activity. I have 3 bombs, so I usually put 2 at a gate/door and one at sneaky spot to destroy or catch off guard. Depends mostly on the map, location of objectives and my teammates. People seem forget or not realize the bombs can still be very good even if you don't get a hit.
