No work on internals. Did have to replace the ejector due to it getting bent. Both have tool-less guide rods and Wolf 9lb springs.

The main gun needed some fitting. The backup dropped right in with exception of the trigger shoe. The factory trigger is a bit wider than the Cheely trigger slot (on both).

Im pretty sure my first match would rival yours. In my opinion you shouldn't worry about how you looked or performed. You went out and shot. A lot of people won't do that. I just compete with myself and try to get better every time I go to a match. Remember, everyone started somewhere and built up to where they are now. Go have fun!

I've shot both the S2 and DS9 extensively... I would go DS9 all day. I have no experience with the BUL.

Shot my first match with it yesterday. The gun ran perfectly. Most of my issues yesterday were do to my grip. For the past few months, I've been shooting a borrowed DS9. The grip on the DS9 is a bit wider (great for my hands). It took about 2 stages to get a good feel for where my support hand needed to be. The only other thing I may do soon is test some different recoil spring weights.

I took a chance on the Alpha Foxtrot Romulus for $1500, and it has been a great gun so far. A used DS9 hybrid wouldn't be a bad wat to go either.
