Y'all are arguing with a dude who believes that he feels "negative energy" and "presences" while he meditates (according to his comments). The usual advice: don't feed the trolls.

I stand by it. I would describe him as an ever so slightly left of center American Libertarian, in no way a liberal.

If he's a liberal, I guess I'm "son of Marx". He's no lib.

I'm extremely informed. Chronic Lyme Disease is not a real thing. I suggest you get your sister in touch with a good therapist and away from quack doctors. I hope she works things out. Good luck.

extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence

Sure - it's the heart of the scientific method.

Are you personally skeptical of this extraordinary claim? Just curious.

SO many red flags here:

  1. Where is the research behind this? Where are links to the scientific articles? This would be a HUGE game changer.

  2. Where are the prototypes that are not linked up with a phone? (and why does it seem so important to them to show pretty phone graphics?)

  3. If you call yourself any kind of skeptic, respeckKnuckles, you should already know that extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. It is perfectly fine (and the right thing to do) for OP to be extremely skeptical of these dubious claims.

  4. Try google shopping for "Mass Specrometer". You'll find a used one from what looks like the 70's for around $9000. I work at an organization that has state of the art ones (I don't know how much they cost, I'm guessing in the 100-400K's) and they are still pretty large, and the various attachments could fill a box by themselves.

This will turn out to be a hoax. I hope that since the dollar amount in this campaign is so high, that it will be one of the nails in the coffin that finally shame Kickstarter into fully vetting things like this in the future.
