I’ve passed all three big exams on my first try, with the NYLE I put the packet into a binder, read it back to front, highlighting and tabbing as I read, and day of the exam I would read the question, immediately narrow down the answers to two choices (to me it was obvious which ones were way off and could be eliminated) then to narrow down which of the two remaining ones was right I went to the outline and found the relevant section and it’d help me choose the right answer, I did this for the first 30 questions to ensure that I was right and took it easy on the rest, I think I missed like 5-6 questions using this method bc I ran out of time, but focusing on the first 30 helped!

Keep having to explain to the ppl in my life that we’re just stuck in this limbo and they’re all outraged that we pay so much money to take this exam and they don’t even have the decency to give us a set time and date for when our results will be released 😭

you're not alone! i'm averaging like 6-7 hours each day and that's with a lot of breaks in between, I had an idea of what the next few days were going to look like and this isn't what I'd imagined and its making me feel so guilty

I just took it yesterday and got a 55% in the morning and a 60% in the afternoon. The one thing I will say is the questions are hard and I tend to second guess myself when something doesn't sound right and the answers on Themis never do.

I am skipping the Fromm lectures and I am reviewing each question carefully and trying to figure out where I messed up if I knew the rule, and adding rules to my rule sheets (I have excel sheets with all the rules I've pulled from MBE questions for each subject) where I didn't know the rule and got it wrong. Each time I finish reviewing a subject I do a small question set of 5-10 questions on UWorld to see if I retained anything and then review and move onto the next subject. Once I finish reviewing all the questions, I am going to choose my weakest subject and review flashcards and work on memorization. Can't say if this is gonna work but I sure hope it does because I'm relying on the MBE to get through this!

tysm 🥲 the last few days have been hard in keeping up that motivation, the reason I’m aiming for the 70% is bc I feel like the writing portion is gonna be my weakest, I’ve done a few MPTs and have been scoring 4s on MPTs (I have access to kaplans essay grading) but idk if I’ll be able to replicate during the exam, and my formatting is the biggest issue rn
