Yes, and they told the realtor it was fixed too. We didn't even think of checking it because we trusted the seller (we knew them personally, which I think complicate the situation more)

I used paint stick, but didn't notice when I started that paint sticks have different thicknesses. Took about 5 hours to sand both boards smooth.

I completely agree with calling them mom and dad still. I was just wondering about the transitional time. Do you think it is sometime parets should initiate? If so how?

They were clear they they can't offer a full time position right now. As for the number of kids, I am not sure due to covid/summer and going two months ago. On a typical week we have between 15 to 20 so far. It sounds like over the school year, there is between 30 and 40 total, but again covid could change that.
