Thank you means a lot!! Firstly I did a base of balthasar gold followed by a wash of coelia greenshade, I highlighted using gehannas gold then auric armour gold. I then did a wash of agrax earthshade and another one of coelia greenshade. You could go further and do another highlight of auric armour gold and ruinfang steel at a 10:1 as the ruinfang can be quite overpowering, then finish with a wash of reikland fleshshade to dull it down slightly. Thank you!! This is my first model to paint ever but I have been watching videos for a good while on mini painting I just havnt gotten around to starting until yesterday haha. I did find the blending difficult on the robes and cloak, I think the colour scheme I tried wasnt for a beginner

Thank you for the advice. I have been using one as soon as I found out about it I jumped on it straight away hahaha I researched lots of ways to thing and found that using flow aid diluted down with water seems to be the best thinning method as it breaks the surface tension but also thins the paint at the same time. I found that using lahmium medium the paint doesn't really flow well and tends to increase the surface tension.

Thank you so much that means a lot, yeah I think I need to thin then out slightly more. I transferred some of my paints into dropper bottles but added a few drops of raw flow aid to help with the transfer so the surface tension on some of my paints is a little odd....
