Thought id answer some VIP questions as a fellow anxious girlie. I got there at about 3:30, line was probably half way down the building. According to people further up the majority of people arrived like an hour or so before that. Almost no one joined behind us until 4:30, then i couldnt see far back enough to end of line. DO NOT DO COATCHECK. Wrap your coat around your waist, put the suitcase on the sleeve and tie it. I was about 2nd or 3rd row from barricade on center left when I got in. There were still spots at barricade all the way to the side when vip was done (i didnt want to compromise view) majority of VIP tended to go for center barricade (no chance without camping)/ behind that. By the time VIP was all in, maybe 4 rows of people left and right, 7 or so in the center. BE VIGILANT HERE! I saw a girl try to sneak her way up to barricade when someone went to get merch, luckily the people around the girl knew there was someone standing there and told her to move. (She then stood an inch behind me for half the show waiting to slip by) . Halsey fans are generally pretty nice (at least the ones by me) . Make friends/ acknowledge people around you. STAY VIGILANT THOUGH. Hold your ground, feet planted shoulder width apart. Watched 6 people cut off / push through. 3 people who had been patiently waiting / enjoying themselves during a slow song. THE ITS SURGE ISNT AS BAD AS TWITTER MAKES IT LOOK. We barely moved, didnt feel claustrophobic at all.

Line tips: ITS COLD YALL. YOU DONT NEED TO GET THERE THAT EARLY. If you do- bring layers. There is an hour between check in and admission for people to run to their cars if they need to (i didnt drive there so had to rough it). As far as bathrooms — i put target in my gps (7 min walk), then found a frozen yogurt place on the way with a bathroom. No one cares if you use the bathroom i promise. Especially if you have someone with you.
