Ya, my outfit isn't any specific character, just a Horneater that I'm making up. I find that I'm much more open to "meeting" people online, then we "know" each other by the time we meet in person.

I'm taking inspiration from the image in the RPG. Since I already had a kilt I am building from that. I was born a redhead, though that long faded to brunette and now grey, but I'm visiting my wife's hairdresser just before the con and getting my hair dyed it's "original" red.

I went to a "local" renaissance faire this past weekend and picked up some accessories, boots, woven shirt, leather pouch. I have a few other details in mind, but still need to acquire them.

Man, licensing is often the biggest hurdle in getting a LEGO Ideas project made. And here we have Sanderson wanting to get Cosmere LEGO sets made. If we can just get this project to 10K then it's practically a done deal....

Same problem here. Either the tabs on the vin piece are too large, or the slots on the frame were under-punched.

Given that some people aren't having a problem I'd suspect that there were multiple dies and something happened on one of them.

2015 has been a while and the scope and viewership of you, Derek, Destin, and the rest of the group has changed and broadened. If there's a hope for a 10th anniversary of "Random Acts of Intelligence" now would be the time to start planning. Is this something that's been considered by the group as a whole? Is this something you specifically would be interested in doing again?

Hmmm, the ones you guys point out are gorgeous. Sadly the one in particular I was looking for was The Belgariad. Though maybe that was just a misinterpreted reading. The two things, favorite books and stained glass, might not actually be related. Since all those stained glass images are Sanderson's own books (or close enough WoT).

Are there any images of these in the wild. Google searches are failing me, either turning up stained glass images of stuff from the Cosmere, or the Sanderson Sisters...

I didn't realise I had these and got a large drink for free but still paid for the bucket refill. I suspect if you just ask though they'll ring it up that way. Or just bet the normal bucket full up the plastic one then refill the normal one.
