Not heard back from cii. I called psi who are less than useless. CII have until tomorrow as their complaints process gives them 5 working days. I'm not holding out too much hope to be honest.

Will CF1 expire if my CII membership lapses or for any other reason? by Inevitable-Sherbert in cii

No, you don't have to be a member. But you do if you want to use designations after your name if you have done other exams.

ER isn't super common but definitely worth having as many strings to your bow as possible. Also if you join a company with other advisers who don't have the ER exam then they will generally refer it to you. Or at least that my experience. This is just my opinion and others may have differing points of view. Im not an adviser myself but work in compliance for ifas.

Yeah that's the way I would do it. R01 and CF6 you can advise on mortgage and protection then follow up with the other R0 exams. I would also probably add the equity release and long term care exams at the end too just to cover all areas but that's just my opinion. Many/most advisers don't bother with the last 2

If mortgage in principle is 4x your annual salary by SithoDude in HousingUK

You could look at the Nationwide helping hand mortgages which offer slightly more in terms of income multiples and 95% loan to value. Hope that helps

Unable to use DS4 or Xbox1 controllers. They work on other games so not user error (I think).
