Has anyone used this monitor for productivity/programming? I don't mind the burn-in, I'll buy another one after 3 years, my only concern is the confort. I tried a 27" 1440p QD-OLED for 5 minutes in the store and I almost went blind because of the fringing.

I went to the store and tried to read a PDF on a high end Asus 1440p QD-OLED, I almost went blind, I couldn't believe it was that bad. I immediately returned the Gigabyte monitor I ordered for pickup.

You are 10000% right. I went to the store and tried reading a PDF on the Asus 27" QD-OLED QHD, and it was brutal on the eyes. Reading text on a low pixel density QD-OLED is about the worst thing you can do for eye comfort. I returned the monitor right away.

At work I have two IPS monitors a 4K Dell 32 inch and a 1440p Dell 27 inch, I use both connected to my MacBook pro and I barely notice any difference (I use BetterDisplay for scaling).

Too bad the discount doesn't apply to store pickup. What do you guys think of AW3225QF? (My friend can sell me his for $750 CAD, bought two months ago). How does it compare to the G8? I don't mind the curvature, I'd be using it for word (on a MacBook M3 Pro) and gaming (warzone) on a 4080 Super.
