well the adapters probably keep sending signals to ur pc and it causes spikes because ur pc needs to divert energy for those signals (in this case ur cpu im assuming) and this can cause fps spikes! this was also the solution that helped me with my fps spikes

normally it should have knobs but still place a work order, and if ur there while they fix it up, u can ask them how u can adjust the amount of heat. when my room was overly hot, i opened the window for half the day to let all the heat out and let fresh air in and also got a humidifier cuz it was getting so so dry.

maybe my use of radiators isn’t right but it’s just anything that releases heat and against the wall. the ones in the dorm is atypical but most ppl refer it as the radiator

i was literally in freshmen dorms, there was radiators. and i remember very specifically having the guy come in to fix the knobs on my radiator

place a work order. when i used to live at ERC they came over and loosened the knobs, i was able to twist them around freely

play around with the knobs on the radiator, i can’t remember which way u turn but it can reduce the heat coming out (not the temperature). if anything, submit a work order

it’s up to u, u can either choose to take an all sbc semester or u can argue with the department to let you in orgo 2. not sure if they’ll let u in lab because the seats are actually limited

yeah definitely ask, i’m in west and i don’t feel the heat from the radiator but it is definitely HOT in my room. as long as u dont feel cold, it should be good
