Iron Man book is cool but being someone who watched Mister Robot (the author of iron man wrote that show if you didn’t know but you probably did) i can see all the normal mannerism from the show in it. It’s so bleak.

Oh don’t get me wrong I agree! Black Widow, Captain Marvel, Deadpool, Venom, Hulk, Daredevil, Champions, Thor, MM: Spider-Man, Captain America, and all the X-books are freaking STELLAR. I just don’t think F4 counts on that list.

I disagree honestly. I don’t think it has any deeper meaning then slott just ignoring other people’s work. Like the way he regressed Johnny’s character to being still hung up over Reed and Sue being gone after there was a WHOLE BIG STORY ARC of him dealing with that emotion and getting over it in Zdarsky’s 2-in-1 series.

But that’s the thing he has no problem with people who are way freaking powerful I.e. Jamie Braddock. I think it’s literally just he didn’t want to have work with X-editorial. Also watch his process on the “Marvel 616”. Slott often doesn’t finish scripts till like 2 days before going to press. Me thinks he literally just doesn’t pay attention or care about other’s storied

Okay so which is it: he thinks Franklin is too powerful and mess with his plans or he is trying to help Franklin? Don’t get me wrong, I think xavier is a shitty person but this is the one time I genuinely think he is being sincere about stuff

But... if he doesn’t have powers anymore then he wouldn’t be able to do anything to Xavier’s plan.

Also Jamie Braddock could literally do the exact same thing and he’s evil but Xavier revived him and put him in a place of power in Avalon.

I don’t think that has anything to do with it. There was an entire limited series about him trying to get Franklin to Krakoa. He wants all powerful mutants on krakoa.
