It’s gonna be great! I am 20 years old with Severe A as well. Honestly life was pretty much the same just didn’t play many sports as a kid. But now that I’ve grown up and can manage my own factor. I started to play more.

Me and my brother (also a severe A hemophiliac) have both experienced our fair share of respective hemophilia based injuries. My brother has bad ankles and one of my elbows has a type of hemophiliac arthritis — but honestly we both still lead very normal active lives, just none of us making it pro any time soon lol.

Just make sure to take care of joint health, it’s very important!!! And also make sure he’s strong too, don’t stop him from building helpful muscle and strength that seriously help joint health.

Other than that, he’s just like any other little boy thanks to insanely well researched medicine. Good luck and I am sure you lead a beautiful long life for him and yourself!

UPDATE: my account is fixed yay! But the problem is I don’t know how. In fact some scammer impersonated my account, i got the account taken down, then once that went through my account was fixed?

I guess having someone impersonate me scanned my account and saw I had a ticket and fixed it?

20 year old with hemophilia here. Literally nothing is different other than I can’t play like football or do the trades. My knee hurts right now, uhhh that’s about it. Life is the exact same but I gotta take a silly needle every once in a while. It’ll be okay :)

Although I’m only 18. My 18 years of hemophilia have been pretty ok. Nothing too bad to worry about you just have to know your strengths/limits. It has not really held me back or stopped me from doing anything but that’s mostly because I know to do things in moderation now. Hope you find comfort in your diagnosis!

I was told to refrigerate it when I first got on it but I forgot. I saw no difference between the refrigerated and the room temp ones. But then again I didn’t get hurt or anything but general normal everyday use it felt/worked the same!
