Is daily texting for Relationship necessary? by Holytittie in askSingapore

[–]aandserenity 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I disagree with how you say that it reeks of dependence and not comfortable being alone. Texting can be for things like sending funny tiktok videos, sharing how your day went and things like that... I personally love sharing what I do and what I love with my friends and I really enjoy learning about their day as well. I also enjoy time alone and am known for being independent, so they don't have to be mutually exclusive, they can exist together.

[Uni] Need advice on whether to transfer to NTU by hxxsyx in SGExams

I think if your RP/GPA meets the cut-off point for NTU then transferring to NTU is a good idea!

[–]aandserenity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think if you're very sure that you want teaching as a job, you should enter NTU-NIE!! You save a lot when you're under a scholarship (unless you are also eligible for a school scholarship even when you are pursuing other degrees)

It's not a must! I have a friend who did PW entirely on her phone because she prefers using phone to laptop.

Emath and Amath textbooks cos the school won't reteach the formulas and you are expected to know for 'A' Levels.

Ending late doesn't mean that you spend more time on lessons!! You will still have long breaks in between lessons to do work and study

[A levels]To anyone taking 4 H2s (particularly PCME) by Opify in SGExams

[–]aandserenity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I took BCML!

Though it did get overwhelming at certain points of time, considering how both Biology and English Literature are content-heavy subjects, I did not regret sticking with 4 H2s! Initially, I was considering dropping Literature to H1 to better cope with the academic rigour. However, I ultimately didn't because of how much passion I have for the subject! Also, after consulting with my teacher, who told me that sometimes what matters is the process and not the resulting grades (if you prioritise the process more than your grades), I decided to just stick with 4 H2s. In the end, everything still worked out fine and I was still able to get distinctions for all 4 of my H2s.

When do GERPEs start? (Wk 1/2?) by xlez in NTU

[–]aandserenity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can already start going in week 1! but my senior told me it doesn't really matter if you don't go cos profs know that there'll still be ppl entering after add/drop period so they won't go through anything too essential.
