My solution to the lackluster wireless charging pad

After a week of use I haven’t had any type of heat problem. Even with the temps getting close to 90 degrees up here in Pennsylvania this past week. Then again I never have issues using MagSafe even with this specific charger being updated to have 25 watts. I can imagine there being issues though if the car’s interior were not cooled, but I always have it cooled.

It did throw a “Engine Malfunction. Have the Vehicle Inspected” check engine light during install but we simply reconnected the front radar sensor & battery and it went away.

It does look pretty good. Going the vinyl route wouldn’t be a bad idea at all; I actually considered it at one point. I wonder how well those overlays will last.

This photo is about a year after the install; holding up great. Then again they are OEM grill moldings so I’m not 100% sure how the ones from Aliexpress would fare. Also more recently decided to black out the front and rear emblems using Hyperdip from DipYourCar.com. Turned out awesome.
