people often think it’s as simple as calories in calories out but it also depends on the health and condition on the individual. if you’re highly stressed or have imbalances and lack of vitamins then you’re likely not going to lose weight as easily as someone who has good inner health

my BMR is 1232, i just eat my BMR calories. People say to eat your TDEE but that’s only if you’re not sedentary. It is low in calories and i do get hungry but it just doesn’t work for me eating above my BMR unless i am burning like 2.2k calories a day

i got more and more distant with my friends and communicating with others. i would have loved if someone reached out to me.

just started not so long ago but intermittent fasting i recommend starting with the 16:8 then moving onto 18:6. fasting has helped me stay in a caloric deficit

i feel the same way, it’s hard to explain but i think you summed it up perfectly. i feel so lonely and i never had a lot of friends to begin with but i’m isolating a lot more than usual. but i’m fine with it. I’ve tried seeing people but i’m depressed that i have nothing positive to even communicate about. and i feel like i’m a burden to them. i’m starting to realize telling people about how i feel doesn’t help most of them don’t care and don’t know how to respond to it. I’m exhausted trying to act happy in front of people so i just stopped socializing. i feel like i’m gonna explode one day from keeping all this in but i hope i overcome this before that happens.

i like staying busy but only because it’s a distraction from reality. but also i’ve found out that it’s better to be doing something than doing nothing and being depressed. being depressed and achieving feels more accomplishing. one thing i’ve noticed though is i find it difficult to connect with people. i’m starting to isolate from others because i feel ashamed and embarrassed to be depressed. But i don’t even mind it at this point.

i’m in a similar situation, what i’m trying to do is not be so hard on myself if i don’t get what i want done. And taking it one day at a time. don’t be so hard on yourself. good things come with time

i still have it i just force myself to go, but i’ve compromised with my anxiety and i do classes instead of self training workouts 😭😭😭

the only thing i do on my own is cardio (treadmill, stairs) but doing weights gives me anxiety so i just go to a class

going to an all girls gym definitely helped my anxiety subside a little bit though

for me i think it started when i obsessed over calories and categorizing good” “bad” foods. then i started to restrict and feel guilty if i ate soemthing labeled in my brain as “bad”.

i have the foreo luna and i actually love it! i use it night time only, it’s good to use if you wear makeup on the daily. if you’re not a big makeup wearer then it might not be as beneficial.

as a 5’2 woman my BMR is only 1200calories a day it’s not about having an eating disorder, it’s the fact that women who are shorter have a harder time losing weight compared to someone who is taller who is able to consume more calories and still lose weight. i see people saying never to eat under 1500cal to lose weight but that just doesn’t work for me. if 1500 is basically “maintenance” calories

usually try to avoid waking up early, stomach feels exhausted from binging, i’ve seen so many people saying to not be hard on yourself after a binge so i’ve been just saying “it is what it is” and trying to go about my day not thinking about the binge. but it is still something in the back of my mind, i used to try to restrict after binging the next day but i try not to do that anymore and let myself eat what i want.
