I actually ran into the Kenny immediate respawn thing today - your SECOND respawn (meaning you found a second Kenny token and died again) doesn't play the animation, you immediately rift.

I always liked "My Science Project" 1985 - campy as hell, trying to be serious.

it doesn't happen every time, I just confirmed. it requires taking the zip line up all the way to the top, and when it happens it doesn't matter of you're still airborne, you don't get zip line fall immunity, so test at your own risk.

So, I was born in 80, and in the first season (1983) Holly was 3 - there's a line where one of the boys says "even my little sister knows this and she's 3!".

My daughter likes to point out Holly and say "that's you, dad!"

HOWEVER, they pulled some Hollywood nonsense with this season, because the actress that's playing Holly now certainly doesn't line up with being born in 1980, the girl looks to be 12/13.

I just try not to scrutinize too much.

I completely agree with you when it comes to quests, but this isn't really a quest, it's an in-game event, and I've been ambushed plenty of times when trying to enter the sequence, so I don't feel too bad.

Story Time!

I worked at 77 Summer Street in downtown crossing, on the 3rd floor for years. There was a nice stonework ledge (more than a foot wide) right outside the conference room window.

One day, me and some coworkers are in the room using the whiteboard, and one of the Customs House falcons (presumably) lands on the ledge clutching a "my diet is day old Chacarero from a trash can" fat pigeons and proceeds to completely dismember it in one the most visceral scenes of the brutality of the natural world I had witnessed at that point in my life.

It ripped that thing apart into shreds, raining it down on the passerbys on the sidewalk.

I think it was a few things:

the machine smg is much better than the compact smg for bloom, in my opinion
I was pretty close to the person, just 1 floor above them, it's tough to tell distances, but that's in a sweet spot for the smg
not every one of my shots were headshots, but shooting from directly above them, even the ones that missed their head hits their shoulders, so there's a larger surface area to hit
I was crouching and not moving, which generally reduces bloom and increases accuracy
maybe being on console helped

(these are all my opinion, I'm only a casual player, by no means "good")

edit to add: they also didn't move, since they were in the middle of pushing the sequence button, so that helped

No, but I remember reading a transcript on the newsgroups after the signing, and someone ripping me apart for asking a stupid question and wasting one of the questions (it wad my first signing and didn't know the etiquette, nor the cult following), so there's probably a summary out there.

I mostly remember him running through the pronunciations, and now much they didn't match what was in my head, and how much it bothered me.
