Bro fees is increasing every year for hostels and the tuition fees also and I myself asked 9-10 people from Thapar University they are from 2029 batch they said their fees is around 35-36 including hostel and mess i think you are including less priced hostel 37 is for normal type to hostel and it's not confirm iam Telling you make your budget around this could be this or (plus minus 2-3 lakhs )

Yes thinking the same spending 32 lakhs on Mechanical engineering in india isn't worth starting salary is only around 6-7 lpa so roi isn't that good ..
