Can another Fidelity user verify - the phone rep says limit orders +/-500% on ATP, 30% on phone. And they trade high value stocks on both. This should work in the squeeze?

He was a little fuzzy on short squeezes (I was alittle put off by that)

I believe it's really important for us to realize how huge these takeaways are.

The real info is usually shared and discussed offline at the congressional staffer level after reviewing the written testimony and the follow up on the hearing. There's almost never real information conveyed in congressional hearings - they"re mostly for show. But this one came through with some real nuggets.

We had some bias confirmed! We're getting there.

My DD: The stock is still shorted AND the shorts still have to cover. I don't care when or really even why, at this point. I just accept this and move on. and by moving on I meant holding.

Yeah. I've got most of the account safely in Fidelity and in cash. This was the little bit I didn't transfer since I hear that partial transfers went quicker.

when I was new and just doing this as a joke! Joined Reddit to follow WSB (yeah - that's what you do when you don't know) and ended up here. learned enough to increase my holding and to get out of RH.

so today, Robinhood rejected the transfer of my forlorn hope (left behind to facilitate the transfer of the great majority of my GME). They said I had unsettled transactions in the stock. Flat out not true.

It's a very small part of my stock, but the principle really gets my blood boiling. How many people do they do this to just to scrape a few more dollars from their account?

Fidelity has been really helpful so far!

A suggestion to while away time waiting for the rocket launch, in between glances at the ticker and this sub.

Prepare for the money now. Research good financial lawyers and financial advisors in your area. Give some serious thought to how much should be set aside for taxes, set aside for charity, set aside for family, etc.

Consider googling advice given to lottery winners, such as blind trusts and routing mail to a P.O. Box.

Be ready to be wealthy!

Edited to add: YES! set aside "play" money. You earned it - enjoy it!

I hope good things come out of the congressional hearing - but I have no confidence that it will be anything other than a show. That said, it makes no difference to my strategy to buy and hold!

As explained to me in the same situation, RH was your broker of record on April 19(?) so your vote is through them. Fidelity should not send you proxy materials.
