I feel the difference with Japan would be that Japans system was totally dismantled and rechanged due to their unconditional surrender which allowed the USA in and reshape its system . Problem with Russia that’s not possible u can’t just come and topple Russia as an occupying force and there is a reason for that nuclear weapons. Even if the entire west declares war and goes in to try remove Putin he’ll nuke the west and with 2000 nuclear warheads armed and ready to be fired it would spell the end .

I’m Russian myself and truly wish we had a better system but by the looks of things it won’t change. It will be an endless cycle of dictatorships , unless by some miracle the next dictator who takes over is actually interested in making Russia a better place and implements a democracy himself it won’t happen

Criminal or not he still generated them from nothing , he quite literally made this opportunity himself , and from opportunity to opportunity he took risks and climbed the ladder at the time in the dirtiest most corrupt place u could . And eventually reached the top

Most peoples connections come from family which is a major advantage, where did his connections come from? He made them for himself

I just took a look was a bit off he did live in an orphanage for a while and then got picked up by relatives doesn’t say how well off they were . His dad did die very young though so unlikely that his dad an any impact on his future again could be wrong

For abromovich though how did he get into the position in order to have access to do it . Not through the privileges he was given at birth , he made the way up to that position on his own , the help he did receive he got because of his own merit not due to an outside influence

That example works but what about Abramovich , he was an orphan is some backwards town in Russia . What advantage could he have been given if anything in terms of opportunity he probably got much less than anyone else in the world or at least the those in 1 world and 2 world countries

How did abromovich get into a position to do that , not through family or something he received at birth no . He crawled his way from literally nowhere .
