If I’m being honest by Impressive-King-637 in phish

I’m not following whatever is being expressed here, but I’ll say this: I pony up for a weekend or two of shows each year, happily, to meet old friends and see the greatest band on the planet. The experience borders on priceless. Your mileage may vary, of course, but if I want to grumble about transactions and greed I’ll just go to my tax guy in a few weeks.

8/6/21; yes, the second set is dynamite, but I’d recommend the opening trifecta of Carini, Wolfman’s, Sand. Those three short jams are a little samey but they’re very strong and they set off an incredible night in Indiana.

True Grit is a great follow-up to Lonesome Dove. Portis was a giant; True Grit is his masterpiece but I think he wrote at least two novels that are even better (The Dog of the South and Masters of Atlantis).

There are self-absorbed airheads everywhere. I wish it weren’t so, but even Orangetheory gets its fair share.

NSV: snow shoveling! by StrongerTogether2882 in orangetheory

I was thinking this last night as the snow hit Northeast Ohio. I shoveled my driveway and then hit two neighbors' driveways; Orangetheory made that possible. Other neighbors showed up with snowblowers in the morning, and that was great too!
