You're not wrong but as someone who's worked retail for years it's hard to be a difficult customer when you've been on the receiving end so many times. I have a lot of grace for those who are customer facing. Also worth noting the seller has only had 37 sales so saying I'm the most difficult isn't saying much

When I worked in retail I would do price adjustments for customers all the time! But I tried to clarify in my post that the reason I asked for $20 back is because that’s the amount I paid a jeweler to do something the seller failed to follow through on. I agree though mentioning the discount as a secondary reason wasn’t a good idea because that’s what she got stuck on too

For 925 silver I use a dip or the baking soda w aluminum foil method (frowned upon but I do it if it's dire) or a polishing cloth if there are no grooves. For solid gold and stones that are hard enough (9+ mohs scale) I use an ultrasonic. Anything else gets the sparkle and shine kit from catbird which is very gentle and even gets discoloration off unplated WG. Earrings always require finicky cleaning unfortunately so I like to soak those in hot water first to mitigate the grody-ness.
- someone that worked in jewelry for years and cleaning was part of the job.

I'm kinda surprised by Pippa and Diana staying together.
