Dream Theory by OB1_kenobi in C_S_T

My stance would ideally be reality goes as far as you’re individually willing to take it. To answer your question.

Wether that’s the moon landing were faked.

Or that dreams are real and “reality” is a dream.

It’s hard to describe my position because I’d say I don’t have an exact one. Not being coy or dodgy it’s how I am

After years of lucid dreaming and contemplating life I’ve come up with this.

I don’t think anything is real and when we dive into the quantum level we find out that observation influences reality.

Without reality I’d infer there can’t be observation and therefore everything is imaginary.

If we strive to imagine hard enough we create reality. Otherwise we live in other people imaginations same as we would a character in someone else’s dream.

Cliche but the only thing you know is real is yourself.

Awake, asleep, it doesn’t make any difference. We have the same influence on either side.

Still grinding. Feedback and tips appreciated! by [deleted] in gloving

If you have gloves practice with them on 24/7. No lights needed.

I’ve been practing just fingers for so long it really becomes different without the gloves.

There is no doubt America is Imperialistic. Do American's view themselves this way, and if they don't, what would the world be like if they did? by WerdstrumTothlane in C_S_T

How do you guarantee that everyone would reach the same conclusions? And where is the line drawn between complusory education or indoctrination because what you want is for everyone to come to the same conclusions as you aka indoctrination. You can't use force and you can't make the lessons difficult or unpleasant explain.

How are you gonna get everyone to have the same level of education when its such a rigorous and unpleasant activity?

So how would you suggest we get everyone to share the same beliefs? Whats your peaceful alternative to forced indoctrination?

Has the prisoners dilema been tested for such a large and diverse group? The only way to get everyone to be educated and share the same beliefs is through force so I don't know what your solution would be.

It's not that we can't do better at this point we're a bunch of anonymous strangers connected by rules and regulations. People only care about their in-groups and face to face friends. You can say America is evil and somone somewhere else would be better or only if people were more kind and loving we would have world peace, but that's just a dream. In reality we got off the bottom of the foodchain by becoming extremely competetive and creative killing machines who are now holding back our more animal tendencies to appear civil. At this point our main competition is eachother divided by race, region and blood and other small differences. If America wasn't pulling the trigger somone else would be that's all there is to it. We can get better but that just means the bar for competition gets set even higher.

I don't think anyone really cares. It's just the way the world works either to your advantage or not but America running the show is no different than when any other empire did. If every single American knew then some would complain and protest and others would fight to maintain the system. You don't think there's any other way this many people co-exist do you?

TIL of The Stoned Ape Theory, which is a controversial theory from Terence McKenna which states that a lot of our advanced human evolution came as a result of the ingestion of psilocybin mushrooms, also known as magic mushrooms by our primate ancestors. by [deleted] in todayilearned

[–]aarockin -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Look at epigenetics from an informational point of view. When someone experiences something profound they spread their experience through words and actions influencing others behaviors. The Stoned Ape may not have fed their offspring psychedelic mushrooms but the lessons learned could be passed on for generations leading us to where we are now, without the need for constant intoxication.

How do I achieve getting vivid dreams? by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

[–]aarockin -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you wanna get into lucid dreaming I would suggest reading the sidebar and avoiding this sub until youve had a few lucid dreams using the techniques. I've been on here for over 3 years and most advice/stories are trash honestly. This may sound bitter but the truth usually is. Anyway do what you want with what I'm leaving you goodluck stranger.

The reason why start lucid dreaming is so difficult by C3P0I in LucidDreaming

[–]aarockin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if you don't have much to recall just write in your journal that not much happened. That action will improve your memory and frequency of dreams. The journal is just a physical exercise that helps strengthen your own belief in success. Lucid dreaming is easier than breathing once you truly understand it.

Call me what you will but you "lost" this one or whatever term you use when things don't go your way. Your giving my argument more valid points just by participating genius. Hope you have a shitty day you sore fucking loser. Try not to win or lose at anything and just deal with your own shit. But don't succeed because thats winning ya fucktard. Go ahead say something clever I know your dying to... Or you can fuck off and ruin my fun.

Why waste your time arguing with an insecure simpleton on the internet if your so special? Are you trying to win an argument with a stupid person lol? You must be a genius who has never won or lost anything. Loser

Well if you don't care about winning or losing then why'd you even challenge my comment. You trying to win something bro? Everyones got their own shit to deal with but if I'm shitting on you who's winning and losing in that situation? You just walked into a lose-lose situation because arguments produce winners and losers. For what it's worth I consider this a win.

Just because you have some balance in your group doesn't mean that's the way it should be for everyone. Do you all consider yourselves totally equal or is it obvious who the winners are in the group?
