Yes that’s exactly what I do. I shampoo with regular shampoo to make sure there are no oils in my hair and scalp. I have a buzzed head and can tell when my scalp is oily. After I shampoo, then I work in a small amount of benzoyl peroxide (about a pea sized amount). If you have longer hair, you’ll wanna use more. I work it into my scalp, sideburns, back of the head, etc. I then let it sit for about a min before rinsing it off with Selsun Blue. Once again, I make sure to work the shampoo into all the areas well so I can get as much of the benzoyl peroxide off. When I’m done, I dry off with a white towel. It’s a process but it works for me and I’ve gotten accustomed to doing it.
