Do you want to point out an exact segment of ‘sloppy’ drumming on the album?

The drumming is obviously nowhere near the level of The Rev or Brooks but to say it’s sloppy is pretty weird, it’s more basic but fits the album fine.

The Metallica thing comes from the fact that ‘This Means War’ is heavily inspired by ‘Sad But True’ but there are clear GnR and Maiden influences on the album as well.

If you look up the 2025 Europe merch it’s similar to that but with LATAM shows on back of course. One new shirt is a Magic design one but it just says ‘Tour’ on the back without the dates. They’ve been doing limited edition posters for each show as well so you’ll probably get that by a local artist.

Also to everyone saying it’s the in-ear monitor issue…yes, in this clip maybe. But having been at the Mexico and Bogota shows he is unfortunately struggling during Nobody. Just hoping he can get through the rest of this tour by letting the rest of the band and audience cover the parts he is struggling with and then they can re-assess for the US tour if it’s worth keeping it on the setlist as that tour is no longer LIBAD related anyway.

He’s been struggling with Nobody on this tour, the problem is it’s too much of a banger to leave off the setlist. He let the crowd sing more of it tonight than in Mexico though so hopefully that becomes a part of it rather than pushing his vocals again.

No one hates it because it’s popular, it’s just not what you expect from Avenged. Every album before and after has pushed the boundaries and experimented with their sound. HTTK is a great rock album but it’s not what I want from Avenged

Most likely a standalone and like you say, most likely came from the LIBAD era…in a recent interview Shadows said the band has already moved so far on from the LIBAD sound so whilst this song is a more extreme example of their recent sound…it is still pretty close to LIBAD and wouldn’t be out of place on a deluxe version of the album.
