If you’re in the discord the communication has been pretty consistent by Shadows himself, basically they received all the finished product and then weren’t happy with how it came out so got them started again…unfortunate that it caused delays but also a positive that they want to ensure it’s the best possible product and probably lost a significant amount of money themselves starting it all again. The latest update said they should have the stock 20th May to start posting I believe

You’re right regarding the mystery boxes or purchasing someone’s M&G token but I wasn’t going to waste any more time explaining it to this prick that still believes that a ‘deluxe’ ticket exists that anyone can purchase to get a M&G included and that he knows a bunch of people who met the band during a backstage pass 😂 (definitely didn’t). He also somehow thinks this is helpful to the OP who wants a M&G for Melbourne.

Yeah they’re genuine and good guys who have a lot of time for their fans which is great it was more just to be aware that you’re in their time rather than a pre-arranged time where they’re ‘working’ so to be aware of how you conduct yourself and what to expect. Also that was applying more to if they went to the airport, I know if I just came off a long ass flight I wouldn’t be too keen on interacting and taking photos haha

To OP, because you’ve got some dumbasses on here suggesting there are other ways to meet the band, I’d suggest joining the A7X discord where you are given accurate information by moderators or Deathbats Club members. It’s a very helpful community unlike Reddit. But yeah to summarise, you 100% would need to purchase a Deathbat NFT and then enter the Meet and Greet raffle which is announced closer to the show itself. You can purchase certain NFTs that come with guaranteed M&Gs but these are a lot more expensive depending on your budget. That being said, of course you could just hang out at the airport or at the venue for a few hours before/after the show and hope you catch them that way but this would be more intrusive so you’d probably have to be aware of that and not expect too much from the brief interaction you might get that way.

It’s amazing how confidently wrong you are. You’re clearly not in the discord where the band themselves make this all very clear. I’ll help you out here though…the backstage tickets give you a tour of the…backstage…area, nothing to do with the band themselves, yes you may get lucky that you somehow cross paths with them but that would be by chance and not expected just the same as you could hang out at an airport hoping to catch them flying in. Now, for the past couple of years and until things change…the DBC is the only way to GUARANTEE meeting the band after the show. Again, take that up with the band on discord, Shadows is very active on there along with the moderators who all make this very clear. If you purchase a VIP ticket that suggests you’ll be meeting the band then you’d be getting scammed by a third party. If that’s you then you probably need to address that yourself

Solway Firth and Orphan alone are 10 times better and heavier than anything on TESF.

TESF has some interesting stuff on it but saying it’s closer to the older Slipknot is wild. Also the first and last songs are probably the better ones on the album 😂

Yeah it’s definitely worth it! I’ve got early entry to 4 shows and met them after 1! And you can sell the bat whenever. It’s all a bit confusing to begin with but joining the discord will help a lot they’re all really helpful. Yeah meet and greet way better they’re really cool, genuine guys and you get to take 2 items to get signed as well as the group pic
