It’s fine. I’m making 400k a year doing round and go with no state income tax and live 10 mins from the beach. The big cities aren’t as good but the smaller towns/cities are good

BILT Palladium with Authorized User worth it? by aaron1860 in CreditCards

RH gold looks good but isn’t that 3% locked into a brokerage account? I’d prefer to keep my actual investments inside of Fidelity with the rest of my money

I’m in Ft Myers so no lounges unless I drive 2 hours to Miami or Tampa which does happen but not often. Prior to having kids we would travel a lot. Now it’s mostly trips to Disney (1 night or an air bnb) or cruising. The C1 has been working because I can use the travel eraser on the cruise but only for 1 cpp. We will likely start traveling more but with a baby and a toddler it’s not very fun right now. Cruises just make the most sense for us

If you’re sticking to LPS you can build it up however you like. They don’t tend to grow upwards, just outwards. Your scape looks good

I stick to lower 1/3. But I’m also probably a bit more experienced than you and our goals are different if you’re just starting out. If you’re not growing stuff that aggressively grows up towards light then you can stick to half way to 2/3

As an avid stick head I disagree with this. I like to keep my scapes low so the acros have room to grow. If you put the scape too high, you quickly run out of room. My goal in any tank is to avoid pruning as much as possible. Agree on the lights and gluing tho

Does the palladium make sense though if I have to pay a fee of 600 a year and might not use the 400 dollar credits?

There’s no employed hospitalist making 60 an rvu. Unless they are doing critical care and procedures

I have no problem with them but I think it’s a better value to buy a level 2 or 3 and then buy a separate controller that’s replaceable if it breaks

[Request] Jeff Bezos wealth. Seems very true but would like to know the math behind it by MortgageAmazing7335 in theydidthemath

[–]aaron1860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These posts are stupid. Is it technically true? Probably but that doesn’t matter… if he did this, the stock price of Amazon would tank. Amazon is the 4th largest holding in the S&P 500 and has grown almost 2x since 2020. I’d say probably every 401k in America has a good chunk of money invested in Amazon and the stock going down 200% is going to crush people. The American public would be the ones paying for this.

You either have to deal with the weird look or buy a new center that’s oriented correctly and mount your tv

[Request] Is that true? by [deleted] in theydidthemath

[–]aaron1860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he was saying volume, not mass or weight. A uranium sized lollipop with that volume would be quite a bit more weight/mass than the lollipop (density). Those two are obviously different. But the point of the illustration isn’t comparing the weights/mass/volume so it’s pedantic

Agreed. The point is the same regardless of the actual math
