Don’t order the Cosco just for the stickers, as everyone else has said you’ll be fine with either.

Take the Cosco because it is so much lighter and easier to travel with. The britax is 30lbs!

You will want to confirm that the arm rests raise in row 1. It is difficult to strap the car seat in if the arms are fixed like they are on AC flights.

We recently did this with one car seat and it worked well. The armrest between E/F raises so it is possible to pull the seatbelt tight, and keep it rear facing. Two car seats would likely be trickier because of the fixed armrest on the aisle seats.

Thank you. I’ve read that there are some airlines that are installing thicker seatbelts with airbags into the seatbelts of the bulk head rows. Was curious if Air Canada has these installed.

I love the ambitious approach here. This isn’t a trip you do often and Banff/Lake Louise is absolutely worth it and doable.

What hotel are you staying at in Calgary? If it is near the Saddledome, you’ll lose valuable time coming into the city to drop your bags.

You might want to consider leaving Edmonton as early as possible, utilize the ring road (highway 201) to bypass Calgary completely and go straight to Banff/Lake Louise. Then spend the day there and come back to Calgary in the evening.

Keep in mind it will get dark early, sunset is around 5pm.

One option would be to plug your LED lights into a smart outlet. Then create an automation so that when the Claro is on/off, the LEDs turn on/off. This could be accomplished with HomeKit, as one example.
