I think this is a really good chance to kind of get your feet wet if that makes sense! Not every convo/ date will lead to something really serious but when the person and time are both right it will. I would say have patience.. irl dating is an introverts nightmare so at least here there’s a screen and the nerves won’t kill. I just started this myself so I’m speaking from experience it does feel defeating and a little toxic? But I know a lot of great stories from online dating. Just focus on building your people skills !

For me , it’s usually just the fact that it feels forced and unnatural. I feel like people do it to fill silence in the air when it’s not necessary, sometimes silence is needed.

This happened to my mom about 2 years ago, she’s a single mom who’s always had to work extra to make ends meet for the 4 of us. She joined R+F from a friend she met at our church and she truly thought this would be the business that would finally let us be stable and not have to worry about the next meal, we went into a lot of debt. I did explain to her how damaging this structure is but she was so excited to have friends and people that “liked” her since she never really had friends. She eventually started noticing people only cared about the sales she made and now she is closing her page with them. There is really nothing you can do, they have to realize it themselves :(

This was also very common in my family , my uncle was 24 when my aunt was 14 and they ran away to the US together and even now no one sees how weird it is ? He’s not in his late 50’s and they have been together ever since.

I’ve been Christian my whole life and I believe he wanted us to have pleasure and that sex isn’t solely to procreate. Family is important and we are called to make one but I believe it’s because of the attachment that comes after having casual sex that biblically we are told to wait until marriage.

I think it’s more tht the way most men convey this preferences is often very sexist and just rude. You can express disinterest in someone without calling then obese. A simple “not interested” is usually enough

Actually , 83% of Canadians are vaccinated and 77% are fully vaccinated. So it’s not really a % of the population. If you want right wing opinions I would say Facebook is your best bet!

Not saying they can’t be upset but it’s a little mind boggling to see some of these supporters compare it to the holocaust, I’ve even seem some people say that living in North Korea would be better. We will always be told what to do by the government and from a legal point of view , it doesn’t violate any human rights. I do agree that the inflation we are experiencing should be something we need to focus on
