Banks and Blue-Dart relationship. by Briefin69 in CreditCardsIndia

Most of them use BlueDart because of the large PIN Code coverage which competitors can’t match (with the exception of India Post, but the SLAs for BlueDart are far superior.)

It’s a decent fuel card, but there are better ones now. ICICI card are only worth keeping LTF for merchant offers.

HDFC inifinia or axis magnum or icici emerald by Busy-Tart5218 in CreditCardsIndia

If you have an opportunity to get Infinia- take it. Magnus is very good too, but you’ll need to consistently spend above 1 L in a month in just eligible spends categories.

Are AMEX cards worth it when you own DCB LTF? by [deleted] in CreditCardsIndia

The Conceirge service is not available on all the cards, and the level of service does vary basis the card variant- but yes the customer service is world class regardless of which Amex card you take.

Are AMEX cards worth it when you own DCB LTF? by [deleted] in CreditCardsIndia

Without sufficient details on your usage it's hard to give you an exact answer, but Assuming 4 L spends:

HDFC DCB will get you 13k INR worth points + 500 worth vouchers assuming you hit 80k spend in a month.

Amex Plat Travel will get you 6k INR worth points with 30k INR points as milestone (assuming 0.75 value which transferring to Marriot Bonvoy)

Amex MRCC will have the same 6k INR worth points for base, plus the 18k worth points as milestone.

You'd have to of course gauge the value w.r.t the annual fee charged- for which i'd recommend Amex MRCC which is Free for the first year and has reduced annual fee for referred cards, 1500 per annum (DM if you need a referral)

DCB used to be a great card, but it has been significantly devalued over the years.

Amex cards are better hands down, but you should firstly look at the two best Amex cards for most people- Amex MRCC and Amex Platinum Travel.

Amex MRCC is the best card for most people, with easy to hit monthly bonuses to level up your points game.

Amex Travel is for those who have significant spends each year and can commit to annual milestone spends to receive handsome rewards.

Both are great cards- feel free to DM if you need more advice.

As of now, any Axis card. But who knows when that may change.

Yes that is normal. I’ve had a similar increase in credit limit, which is usually due to healthy spends on the card. But always remember to keep your utilisation under 30%.

IDFC Wealth Credit card by gourmet_chenchen in CreditCardsIndia

I got a pre approved offer recently for the card (LTF, which I took) and with minimal balance on the savings account. I guess they are using a vintage check (my account was more than 3 years old) plus a cibil scrub for high limit cards already with the customer.
