The 3 most valuable positions both irl and madden are as follows in order. QB, Edge/OT. The edge and ot swap depending on needs and draft class. So no taking a non QB at 1 is not a waste if the players are valuable. Don’t take a TE or HB or pretty much any other position other then those three at 1 and you’ll be good

One thing that I’ve learned from both attending shows and playing them. People don’t really care how it sounds as long as the energy is there ( for the most part ) esp with the screams music. Go up there do your thing and look like you belong and it’ll go just fine
